Social Media Awareness Unit
We've introduced a new Grade 4-6 Social Media Awareness unit containing four lessons designed to help students build the awareness and life skills needed to navigate the complexities of social media. Through guided learning and discussion, students explore topics such as online behavior, digital well-being, and decision-making, supporting them in developing thoughtful, responsible habits in an increasingly connected world.
Substance Use Prevention Professional Development
This month's update supports educators with a new Substance Use Prevention Professional Development course, led by Open Parachute founder & Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Hayley Watson.
Through a series of videos and detailed slides, the course helps educators strengthen their understanding and approach to substance use prevention in K-12 settings. Combining expert insights with reflective prompts, the course is designed to support thoughtful, informed conversations.
