The Elementary School Community Building Program includes Student-Led initiatives that offer meaningful opportunities for students to apply leadership skills in real-world contexts. These projects focus on building community support, fostering a sense of belonging, strengthening school culture, promoting innovation, and/or improving student well-being. The projects promote essential skills such as empathy, responsibility, and communication among students. Students will not only contribute to a more inclusive and supportive school climate but also develop confidence in their ability to create lasting, meaningful change.

The Four Student-Led Initiatives:
Student-Led Food Bank / Community Closet: Student leaders can take the lead in creating a school food bank or community closet to support students and families in need.
Student Flower Garden Project: Student leaders can design and care for a school flower garden that brightens the environment and spreads kindness throughout the community.
Career Exploration Clubs: Student leaders can help introduce career exploration clubs that allow students to try new skills and discover their interests.
Well-being Bingo: Student leaders can organize a Well-being Bingo challenge to encourage healthy habits across the school.
