New Updates - August 2024

In preparation for the new 2024/2025 school year, we're excited to share a ton of changes, all designed to improve your Open Parachute experience:

Our brand-new Lesson Library houses all of our lesson content. Designed to be easy-to-navigate, our Lesson Library allows you to view lessons by Grade and Theme.

With a new search bar and filtering system to select lessons by Tier, Competency or Keywords, you can easily locate plug-and-play lessons to run with your students.

Previously named Multi-Lesson Units, our new Collections screen allows you to follow a student's story through our newly revamped lessons. Although each lesson can be run as a standalone, Collections offers you the ability to complete lessons in a recommended sequence.

Brain Breaks, previously named Icebreakers, and brand-new Skill-Builders are Open Parachute's latest additions that are designed to allow students to intentionally sample the foundational content of the Open Parachute program in an approachable manner.

The brand-new Open Parachute Transitions™ program has been created to support students’ well-being throughout the transitions between Grades 5 and 9. Each lesson contains experiential activities that can be completed in or outside of the classroom.
