What are Student Voice Lessons?

Student Voice Lessons follow the personal story of one or more students. Spanning from Pre-K to Grade 12, these lessons are typically characterized by:

  • Peer voice interviews with age-appropriate students with real stories

  • Video commentary from Dr. Hayley Watson, clinical psychologist & founder of Open Parachute

  • Slide decks for interactive student engagement

  • Exit Tickets to review student understanding

Student Voice Lessons can be Tier 1, or Tier 2/3, depending on the lesson content. Learn more about Tiers in our Help Article: MTSS

Please Note: Student Voice lessons typically require the use of a projector or screen to display the video and slide content.
