Being Well Matters™ is designed to foster a deep understanding of the interrelationship between physical, mental, and social health, while equipping students with the practical knowledge and skills to enhance and sustain their overall well-being.
Through a strengths-based and preventative approach, students will build capability in key areas including sleep, movement, nutrition, emotional regulation, stress management, self-esteem, and resilience - empowering them to identify and overcome barriers to healthy living.
What is Being Well Matters?
The Being Well Matters™ program contains a series of 30-minute lessons per year group, spanning Grade 7 to Grade 12. It is designed to be a foundational Middle & High School program.
The lessons within this program are highly adaptable to meet student needs and can be delivered flexibly (weekly, fortnightly, or in intensive blocks). With varying lesson formats, students will engage with the content in a way that feels dynamic, relevant, and impactful, offering opportunities for collaboration and teamwork throughout.
Some lessons within the program contain extension options, to extend learning beyond the classroom. The program is designed to fit perfectly in Health classes.
