Open Parachute updates for July 2026

This month, we've focused on strengthening both our content and the resources that support it. From introducing a new high school suicide prevention series to enhancing educator guidance, updating family resources, and refining lesson placement to better align with student development, these updates are designed to help schools deliver meaningful well-being education with greater confidence and impact.

Learn more about our new updates:

Suicide Prevention Series

Our new Suicide Prevention series includes 10 lessons designed to help students build awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage help-seeking through age-appropriate discussions. Featuring authentic Student Voice videos throughout the series, the series creates opportunities for meaningful conversations while reinforcing that support is always available.

Educator Strategies

We've added a series of Educator Strategies to the High School Community Building Program, giving teachers practical guidance to help facilitate discussions, encourage student participation, and adapt activities for their classroom. These optional tips, downloaded as PDF Resources, make it even easier to deliver engaging, meaningful lessons with confidence.

Revised Caregiver Introduction

We've refreshed our Caregiver Introduction PDF to make it easier for schools to connect families with well-being support.

The updated version provides a clear one-page overview of the free resources available to parents and caregivers, highlights common topics such as behavior challenges, stress & anxiety, social media & communication, and introduces Open Parachute's evidence-informed approach to supporting student well-being.
