New Updates - October 2024

Open Parachute updates for October 2024

Updated over 12 months ago

As the 2024/2025 school year is now well underway, we're excited to share some exciting new updates to help you navigate Open Parachute's summer updates:

Lesson Types

Open Parachute lessons are categorized into four unique and effective Lesson Types. With our latest update, the Lesson Library now contains banners to easily identify each lesson type on the main screen.

To learn more, view our Help Article: The 4 Lesson Types

Programs

With the launch of our new Transitions program (learn more here), and the rebranding of our Student Voice Program (previously Multi-Lesson Units, learn more here), we've released our brand-new Programs page so you can easily navigate our collated content, all in one place.

On each Program page, you will see a purple banner explaining the purpose of the program, with links to our Help Center to learn more.

Help Center & Resource Hub

Our Help Center has had a huge revamp, to help you learn more about all of Open Parachute's features and lessons.

We've also introduced our brand-new Resource Hub, which houses all of Open Parachute's useful documents available for download.

Hint: Check out our Posters section for free downloads to hang in your classroom!

Lesson Materials

Our Lesson Materials section has been updated so that you can easily identify Required and Optional materials. We strongly recommend that you download all Required materials before running the lesson, and Optional materials are provided as supporting documentation.

Counselor Collection

The lessons within The Counselor Collection provide a targeted approach for identified Tier 2 or Tier 3 students who need supplemental mental health instruction and support, based on the MTSS/RTI framework. Navigate the Program by reviewing the key topic areas within each Grade-level.
