Troubleshoot general issues with the platform

If you're having issues viewing or accessing any of the content on our platform, we recommend performing the following troubleshooting steps as a first step:


Refresh/Reload the Page

As a first step, if our platform isn't loading correctly, we recommend completing a hard refresh within your browser window. Refreshing the page instructs the browser to contact the server again to see if there are any important updates.

Chrome Update

We recommend using Chrome as your internet browser, ensuring that you're using the most recent version. Checking for a browser update is the second step we recommend when troubleshooting platform issues.

Empty Cache & Cookies

Regularly clearing your browser's cache and cookies is an important technical step to ensure your browser is functioning efficiently. This is for many reasons, including fixing browser issues, improving browsing speed, and protecting your digital privacy. We recommend performing this action as a third step if you're still experiencing issues after the first two steps.


Additional Step

If your school IT Department has not yet whitelisted Open Parachute, we recommend that you visit our IT Checklist to ensure that you're set up for success.
