Using Single Sign-On

Registering and Signing In with Google, Microsoft or Clever

Updated today

When you Register or Sign In to Open Parachute, you have the option to select Google, Microsoft or Clever Single Sign-On (SSO).

One of the main benefits of Single Sign-On is that you don't need to remember individual usernames and passwords for each application, as you're only signing in with your email account.

Please note - If you have an Open Parachute Administrator account and you sign in using Single Sign On, your 2FA email address will be disabled.

Signing In with SSO

To sign in using your email account:

  1. Click on "Sign In with..."

  2. Enter your email and password

Note. Your email must match your registered Open Parachute email. If they do not match, you will be unable to sign in using this method.

Registering with SSO

There are two ways to register using SSO;

  1. You have received an invitation email

  2. You have access to a Registration link

When you have been Invited to Register:

If you have received an Invitation to Register, you will be able to register with your Google, Microsoft or Clever account, provided that your email address matches the email you received your invitation too.

For this example, we will be using Microsoft SSO:

  1. Select Register with Microsoft

  2. Sign In to your Microsoft account in the popup window and press "Next".

  3. Click the blue" Accept" button.

After completing these steps, you will be returned to the Registration screen, where you will see that you have successfully connected your Microsoft account.

Once you check the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy boxes, you will be able to Register.
